Arts in the Park Sign Ups for Student Musicians and Parent Volunteers

March 10, 2026
An outdoor art exhibition displays rows of framed children's artwork on easels across a grassy field.
Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce that Pearl River School District will be hosting Arts in the Park again this year!  We are in need of adult volunteers leading up to the event and the day of the event as well as student performers. There will be a separate communication in the future for high school volunteers so please do not include your high school student in this volunteer sign up. Please fill out the following forms by Wednesday, March 18th if you are interested in volunteering or your child is interested in performing.

When: Arts in the Park will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: at the Central Avenue Field.
What to wear: Pearl River shirts or Pearl River Blue

Admission is free and open to the public. We encourage you to invite your family and friends to attend this exciting event and celebrate the creativity and musical talents of our students. Here is a link to a quick video about Arts in the Park. Please note this is not a drop off event for middle school or elementary school students. Students at this age level should be accompanied by an adult the entire time they are at the event.

In order to help us plan our musical performance, we will need to know which students will be attending. Please let us know either way by Wednesday, March 18th if your child will be attending their group's performance or not by completing this form

Performance Times:
10:00 Elementary School Combined Chorus (arrival 9:45)
10:15 Middle School Orchestra
10:30 Middle School Chorus
11:00 High School Choir
11:30 Middle and High School Band
12:00 Jazz/Student Arrangement Performance

We look forward to seeing you at Arts in the Park!

Sincerely,
The Arts in the Park Committee
